Douglas Bond

Author of more than twenty-five successful books, Doug is also a tutor for the Oxford Creative Writing Master Class, adjunct instructor in Church history at Western Reformed Seminary, and a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. Doug is husband to Cheryl, father of six, and grandfather of three. He also often speaks at conferences and leads Church history tours in Europe.

Scott LaPierre

Scott is Senior Pastor of Woodland Christian Church and author of Marriage God’s Way: A Biblical Recipe for Healthy, Joyful, Christ-Centered Relationships. He and his wife Katie, homeschool their six children, and together, they are actively involved with their church family. He studies and teaches God’s Word, and speaks on marriage at churches, conferences and retreats.

Dr. John LeProhon

Dr. John LeProhon has thirty-three years of ministry experience and is currently Senior Pastor of Eastridge Baptist Church in Kent, WA. He came to Kent after he graduated from The Master’s Seminary in 2007. He and his wife, Trisha, have one daughter and two granddaughters.

David and Shirley Quine

David and Shirley Quine bring thirty years of experience raising and educating their nine children. Their presentations are immensely practical, real, and encouraging as they share from their hearts the biblical vision and directive of child-raising. In addition to discipling their own children, the Quines are committed to encouraging and leading other families to this high calling.

Dwight Cover

Dwight Cover is Teaching Pastor at Household of Faith in Grandview. Dwight studies, practices, and teaches the Word of God to equip generations of men for spiritual leadership at home, at church, and in the world. He and his wife, Sherrill, seek to equip their eight children (plus grandchildren) to live a biblical calling and advance the kingdom of God in multi-generational discipleship.

Taryn and Mirren

Taryn and Mirren Martin, daughters of Dr. Jobe and Jenna Dee Martin, were homeschooled through high school and work full time in their family’s ministry. Their desire for young ladies is that they come to understand the importance, blessing, and fulfillment found in a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Craig Houston

Craig Houston is Pastor of Westside Baptist Church in Bremerton. Growing up in a Christian home, he felt the call to preach by age nineteen. Graduating from Bayview Baptist Bible Institute and Sound Baptist Bible College, he went out to plant churches. Craig has a heart for expository preaching, reaching the lost, and restoring the Christian home. He and his wife, Emily, have thirteen children and have home-educated for eighteen years.

Barbara Blakey

Barbara Blakey developed Total Language Plus, an award-winning, literature inspired language arts program. She is a published author of middle grade fiction as well as women’s historical fiction and is a nationally-known speaker. Married forty years, she and her husband, Terry, have four children, three home-schooled through high school. She continues to develop curriculum, write books, and help homeschool her grandchildren.

Gina Booy

Gina Booy grew up in Maryland and has bachelor and master degrees from colleges on the east coast. As a wife to Tim and mom to four children age nine to twenty-one, she enjoys homeschooling, training, and discipling while also CH Executive Director’s Assistant, CH Board member, and co-coordinator, with Tim, of CH Registration.

Jeromy Markwort

Jeromy Markwort works as a Lean Coach and Continuous Service Improvement Manager where he helps to identify opportunities and apply a systematic approach to improvement. He is a process improvement and executive coach, international speaker, and invited panelist who uses humor and common sense to help people improve. He and his wife homeschool their six children.

Susan Bradrick

Susan Bradrick is the author of Understanding Writing, a Christ-centered, multi-level English and Composition curriculum. The Bradricks, parents of nine children, began homeschooling in 1981, and have ministered together at many homeschool groups and conferences nationwide. Susan co-teaches the “Homeschooling Start-to-Finish” seminar and parent qualifying course.

Ron Bechtel

Ron Bechtel, a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and Cedarville University, is the Executive Director of the Alliance of Christian Musicians, and Organist and Music Director of Faith Presbyterian Church in Tacoma. He helps others cultivate a taste for musical excellence and beauty in public Christian worship and delights in seeing piano and organ students grow in both skill and in Christhonoring character. He and his wife, Ruth, have two children and three grandchildren.

Sydney Simao

Sydney Simao is an eighteen-year-old Christian speaker and writer. She is pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies and enjoys tackling all aspects of the cultural arena, including literature, politics, and worldview. She lives with her parents and seven younger siblings in Poulsbo, where she enjoys reading voraciously, playing piano, and writing for her blog, Spoudazo Press.

Max Carlton

Max Carlton has been a commercial airline pilot for twenty-nine years and is a graduate of Crescent Project’s Sahara Challenge. Crescent Project’s mission is to inspire, equip, and serve the church to reach Muslims with the gospel of Christ. Max serves in his local church, teaching classes on apologetics and evangelism. He and his wife, Shanna, have been married fifteen years and have three children.

Matt Scherrer

Matt Scherrer was raised on the mission field in Ireland. After earning a degree in wildlife biology and paramedical science in the US, he worked twelve years in emergency medical services as an Alaskan missionary in rural Alaska. He serves at Big Sky Bible camps in Montana, is married with six children, and has been homeschooling for sixteen years.

Kathleen Cotter

Kathleen Cotter Lawler is the daughter of Dr. Joan A. Cotter, author and creator of the RightStart™ Mathematics program and is responsible for program development support, marketing, sales, and general management. She currently leads an online class for middle-school students. Growing up under the Activities for Learning principles, she has a degree in Home Economics and two Masters degrees. She has four children.

Suzanne Thomson

Suzanne Thomson graduated from Northwest Bible College and served churches in Bothell and Seattle before graduating from Seattle Midwifery School and running her own practice for twenty-one years. She led mission teams to Guatamala, Haiti, Czeck Republic, and Fiji, and served on mission teams in Russia and Africa. She teaches and inspires at conferences for Midwifery Today. She and her husband, Jeff, have two children.

Neil Craig

Neil Craig was Minister of Music in several churches and served as arranger, accompanist, and Director of Music of an international Bible-teaching ministry. Every year he instructs and directs the annual Christian Heritage Chorale. Neil is the Executive Director of Christian Heritage Home Educators of Washington, and he is a member of the Board with his wife, Mary.
