Praise & Request

Dear Brethren and Friends,

We praise Almighty God for His marvelous ways and how He works in the hearts of men and women to accomplish His pleasant and pleasing will. This spring, the Christian Heritage Homeschool Conference had the greatest attendance we have ever seen. Families left blessed, exhorted, and armored afresh for the ongoing task of raising Godly sons and daughters (Mal 2:15b) for His kingdom purposes. Please click here to see an illustration of what God is doing.

This is both good and encouraging news. However, we are writing to share a very serious concern with you. The scope and impact of the ministry of Christian Heritage has grown tremendously in the past several years, to the point that it can no longer be effectively handled on a purely voluntary basis. Last year, the board of Christian Heritage stepped out in faith and hired Neil Craig as the Executive Director. We hoped and prayed that the ministry would grow to be able to support this position.

Indeed, the ministry and its support network have grown. Understandably, so have its expenses. But the increase does not cover all of the expense as well as paying an Executive Director. We are coming up short approximately $2,500 per month, and we are rapidly depleting the account balance. Having to release the Executive Director would quench both the vision and momentum that he has brought to the organization. Families, especially fathers, need more vision and encouragement, not less.

Our Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Ps 50:10) and He provides all our needs according to His riches in glory. We are petitioning Him to provide for this need and we ask you to join with us in prayer. God also makes men the stewards of His cattle. Therefore, we are asking you to consider making either (A) a one-time gift or (B) a pledge of monthly support to Christian Heritage to meet this financial need. Please know that no amount is too small—if every family touched by Christian Heritage were to provide even $5 per month, we would easily cover the shortfall.

You can make regular monthly donations electronically through your bank (EFT – Electronic Fund Transfer) as well as by donating online. Donations may also be mailed to Christian Heritage Treasurer, 3125 SE La Linda Ct., Port Orchard, WA 98366. Click here to view these options.
