Important News Item & Reminder …

A BRIEF MUST READ FOR ALL HOMESCHOOLERS :

1 ~ Click Here to Read an Important News Article posted 11-18-08 on OneNewsNow.

  • Especially note the fifth paragraph quoting Chris Klicka of HSLDA which reads as follows:
  • “[E]very family needs to realize that the Constitution of the United States has a Fourth Amendment that states that no one from the government can enter a home unless they have a warrant [that has been] signed by a judge,” Klicka explains. “And the judge cannot sign it unless there is probable cause—and most of the time these social workers do not have probable cause or credible evidence.”

2 ~ Please discuss this essential information as a couple—and as a family.

  • Then explain and periodically rehearse what you—or any of your family members—would do if a social worker or other government official knocked on your door asking to enter & interrogate your family.
  • Teach your family the importance of trusting God & not fearing, but also in all things to be “wise as serpents, innocent as doves” (Matt. 10:16).
  • In addition, seriously consider joining the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) to help protect yourselves and other homeschooling families should unlawful challenges be made against your homeschooling family.

3 ~ And please share this article & crucial paragraph with all your homeschooling friends.

  • ALL homeschoolers need to know these Constitutional facts.
  • Use the FORWARDING BUTTON at the bottom of this e-Newsletter to share this. Or forward to your e-mail lists using your own favorite e-mail program.

4 ~ Finally, teach your family that as individuals & families, we must rely continually on God & His Word for the strength & wisdom to live our daily lives in a way that glorifies Him in all we say & do.

Colossians 4:5-6

Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity.
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned, as it were, with salt, so that you may know how you should respond to each person.
