A GOOD Picture is Worth a Thousand …
A Thousand Words…
And Possibly Much More!
Photography can be a valuable and versatile skill for family, church, & community leaders, for entrepreneurs, for homekeepers, for artists in any sphere, for those who desire to communicate God’s truth to this secular culture …
- Being a skilled photographer opens doors to many vocational fields such as graphic arts, website design, writing, journalism, sales & marketing, public relations, architectural & interior design, and more . . .
- Taking professional quality photos enables individuals to effectively & economically capture vivid images for use with businesses, ministries, political campaigns, and ventures of all kinds.
- In addition, prize-winning photography skills will enable you to create your own beautiful family portraits and to catch the priceless memories of family life the moment they happen.
In today’s increasingly visual world, superb, God-honoring photographs are more important than they have ever been … and someone needs to take them.

On September 12, my IPS class began in the morning at Tumwater Historical Park in Washington State. All the surroundings were awesome, but my favorite was a waterfall which thundered several feet down into a pond. It reminded me of a verse I got the night before…”The words of the Lord are pure words” (Psalm 12:6). Pictures paint a thousand words, and as I observed this breathtaking scene, the Lord reminded me of the importance of my pictures painting words that glorify Him! (06 PWP Student).
