Guest Speakers: Deborah Brown & Daughters, North Carolina
Deborah is a vivacious wife & mother with a gift for creating wonderful loveliness out of the commonplace—and on a shoestring budget.
Be blessed by her steadfast faith in Christ. And hear how she has passed her love for God and the skills of Godly womanhood on to her 3 lovely daughters:
- “Raising Daughters/Raising Helpmeets”
- “Raising Daughters to be Proverbs 31 Women”
Deborah Brown, a most delightful Proverbs 31 woman, will inspire you with both a vision for Godly womanhood and practical strategies for carrying out the role God has created you and your daughters to fill. Scott & Deborah are the parents of three daughters and a son, ages 13-23. And they were delighted to become grandparents in 2007 and are expecting their 2nd grandchild in November. As a family, they vividly live out God’s principles in their daily lives and have a heart to share these precepts and principles, heart to heart, with families like yours.

Responses to the 2005 Christian Heritage Mother-Daughter Tea
Here’s a sampling of the responses received by the Christian Heritage Board and its ladies who hosted the 2005 & 2006 Mother-Daughter Teas:
“I just wanted to thank you and the board of Christian Heritage Home Educators for having this luncheon. It was a blessing to my daughter and [me]. I appreciated the materials that were available also. I am reading some of them now . . . Once again, the luncheon was a blessing and I was encourage to see so many in attendance . . . I thank God that He is moving in the hearts of women to see their God-given purpose. I am slowly understanding that, and I appreciate how well . . . [you] put into words things that I have been feeling and pondering for a long time.” M.L.
“Thank you so much for the wonderful tea and luncheon. We had a wonderful time. It was done so beautifully. Each workshop was perfect! . . . I am so blessed for both my mom and mom-in-law to catch the vision I have for my girls so that they can pray for me, support me, and encourage me and the girls, too, in this adventure of a lifetime.” L.T.
“I was so blessed by the mother-daughter luncheon! I big thank you for the Godly standards you are sharing with mothers and daughters. I pray the Lord would help me be a lovely wife and mother. Thank you for being a wonderful example. Thank you for your time and energy teaching the saints! . . . And a big thank you to your dear daughters too!” M.J.
Thank you so much for a lovely [Mother-Daughter Tea]. It helped to strengthen our convictions. Your godly daughters are now powerful role models for our twelve year old. My friends agreed with my comments . . . I love the talk about how our daughters can honor their brothers. Even though we’ve only been home less than a day, I can see a wonderful sweet serving attitude from our daughter toward her brothers and my husband and me. I hope I am showing nice improvement too in becoming more like Christ. Thank you for all your hard work. May the Lord be glorified! D.S.
